Founder & Board Member.

I am a passionate advocate for personal growth, originally from Mexico and now living in Florida. I’m married and a mother of three, enjoying time with my family and cherishing meaningful friendships. As a “promoter of gratitude,” I believe it is the key that changes lives. I love nature, learning, sharing, and reading about personal development.

I hold a bachelor’s in Business Administration and a master’s in Human Resources, along with certifications in executive coaching and coaching by values. Currently, I’m specializing in emotional intelligence and positive psychology.

Professionally, I’ve worked in human resources and sales, and I am the founder of Illuminate Woman and The Art of Thanking, helping women transform their perspectives and discover their potential. My deep commitment to creating a positive impact led to the creation of Gratitude Giving, with the mission to connect and inspire projects that drive positive change.

“With gratitude, service, and shared growth, we build a positive impact.”

Vice President & Finance

Founder & Board Member.

Born and raised in Ecuador, Daysi Jacobson immigrated to the United States in 2003 without knowing a word of English. Through hard work and perseverance, Daysi learned the language and began her role as an auditor for the IRS. As an immigrant, Daysi understood the confusion that accompanied US tax and accounting policies, and as an auditor, she saw how many more people were equally confused and worried when tax season arrived. Daysi dreamed of being able to help those people one day, and 15 years later, she opened Daysi Jacobson Accounting LLC, her own practice, where she dedicates her time to making a difference in people’s lives.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised across Puerto Rico, Mexico, Maryland, and Texas, I cherish my childhood memories, especially those in Puerto Rico where I attended a historical arts school. These formative years instilled in me a deep appreciation for culture and creativity.
Driven by a desire to help others, I initially focused my general studies towards developmental Psychology, which later guided me towards diagnostics in radiography. The onset of COVID-19 prompted a career shift to administrative work at a prestigious law firm specializing in international commercial business law. This experience paved the way for my current role in handling contracts at a large construction company in Florida.
Throughout my journey, I have always aimed to do good without expecting anything in return. This philosophy aligns perfectly with the core values of our non-profit organization. I am committed to using my administrative skills, and my Spanish/English proficiency to contribute meaningfully and support our mission to make a positive impact.
