Inspire the world with the power of collective commitment to foster positive change in our community.

Marykar Garcia

A woman passionate about personal development, Mexican living in Florida, married and mother of 3.

I consider myself a “gratitude influencer,” who enjoys family time and deeply values friendships. I appreciate nature’s views, love to learn and share, and am a fan of reading personal growth books. I am responsible, positive, cheerful, and have a spirit of service.

Academically, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in business administration, followed by a master’s in human resources, and later, following my calling, I obtained an international certification as an executive coach, continuing with certification in coaching by values. I am currently pursuing a specialization in emotional intelligence, positive psychology, and mindfulness.

In the professional field, I have worked for corporations in two main areas: human resources and sales. I am an entrepreneur of several projects that have left me with great lessons. Currently, I am the founder of the platform Illuminate Woman and The Art of Thanking, with the purpose of accompanying women to transform their life perspective and discover their potential, thus living from their essence in freedom and peace.

Driven by a deep commitment to generating a positive impact, we started Gratitude Giving. My mission is to serve as a catalyst for positive change, fostering connections that propel meaningful projects.

Maria Fernanda Barrera

Born in the bustling heart of Mexico City and raised in a small town where I witnessed my mother’s sense of compassion, who taught me the importance of helping others. This lesson has guided me throughout life and fueled the desire to make a positive impact on the world. After my basic education, I started my career in engineering, always standing out for my ethics and determination to achieve my goals. My journey was further enriched upon meeting my husband, with whom I started a life in different cities in Mexico and the United States, until now, our dream, Florida.

As an entrepreneur, I started my property renovation business, in addition to being a commodities supplier for clients in Mexico. In recent years, I met my partner in this beautiful project, Mary Carmen García. She involved me in this journey of helping those who need to be helped.

My life has been a tapestry of experiences, and I hope that this adventure called Gratitude Giving Foundation will be the opportunity I waited for to feel fulfilled by contributing a grain of sand to humanity.

I am a Medical Nutritionist in Mexico, a Health Promoter in the USA by knowledge and opportunity. I had the chance to meet MaryKar García through the Women’s Business Center. She motivated us through a workshop (Illuminate Woman) to believe in ourselves, creating a proactive community.

A volunteer at heart, a globetrotter, an entrepreneur, and grateful. Based in Germany. Committed to the community to apply my knowledge and experience to a multicultural population, focusing on what unites us, adapting Mexican and local gastronomy to help the well-being of the community, thus contributing to a better quality of life for the population, maintaining our traditions, adapting them to their new lifestyle, enriching the opportunity to try new flavors, and promoting the integration of various cultures.

I now live in Germany, grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project and expand it to the new intercultural community of which I am a part.

Daysi Jacobson

Daysi Jacobson

Born and raised in Ecuador, Daysi Jacobson immigrated to the United States in 2003 without knowing a word of English. Through hard work and perseverance, Daysi learned the language and began her role as an auditor for the IRS. As an immigrant, Daysi understood the confusion that accompanied US tax and accounting policies, and as an auditor, she saw how many more people were equally confused and worried when tax season arrived. Daysi dreamed of being able to help those people one day, and 15 years later, she opened Daysi Jacobson Accounting LLC, her own practice, where she dedicates her time to making a difference in people’s lives.

Our main goal is to strengthen foundations to drive positive change in communities.
